Dr. Dan Reidenberg, Executive Director of Suicide Awareness Voices of Education, Managing Director of the National Council for Suicide Prevention and the current US Representative to the IASP

Christy Olson is a licensed mental health counselor who is currently working as the mental health coordinator for the Mindful Schools Grant through the Polk County School Board. She has worked for the school district for 12 years and assists with mental health awareness training and activities. She helps coordinate the county crisis team and works with the schools to ensure follow-up plans are in place for students who have been Baker Acted. She has an educational doctorate degree in Counseling Psychology and a master’s degree in Professional Mental Health Counseling. She is a certified trainer in Youth Mental Health First Aid and Prepare.

Jennifer joined Kognito in 2010 with a background spanning education, business, and not-for-profit sectors, in areas such as instructional design, strategic communications, fundraising, and arts administration. Prior to joining Kognito, Jennifer served as assistant director of the Columbia Center for New Media Teaching and Learning where she initiated new projects with faculty in the health sciences. At Kognito, Jennifer leads engagements with state-level government agencies, statewide non-profits, and school districts, overseeing a multi-disciplinary team to support client marketing, customer experience, and simulation customization, and new simulation development.

Pat Breux, RN BSN, is the State Coordinator of School and Youth Initiatives at the Suicide Prevention Center of New York. In her role she provides training, and consultation in best practices in suicide prevention, intervention and after suicide death to schools, youth serving organizations and communities across New York State. She is a Livingworks Education certified ASIST and SafeTALK trainer. Her work has received National recognition and many awards. She is the author and developer of a National Best Practice workshop, “Creating Suicide Safety in School”.
