Kognito invited you to join Scott Poland to learn best practices in addressing bullying in schools.

National figures indicate that 25% of students are bullied and bullying peaks in middle school. Bullying has also been associated with many negative outcomes including depression and suicide. Schools throughout the nation are increasingly making bullying prevention a priority and legislation has been passed in all states requiring schools to increase bullying prevention efforts.

This presentation included practical information based on nearly three decades of full time work in the school by the presenter to outline how to:

  • Support the victim of bullying and cyber-bullying
  • Provide consequences for the bully
  • Address the students who stand by and let the bullying happen
  • Respond with an all school approach based on best practices
